Information we collect
We may collect your name, work email address, company, website, job information, enquiry details, service-eligibility answers, onboarding information, communications, and information needed to provide paid-search services. Payment providers may provide us with payment status, billing contact details, and transaction references; we do not receive complete card details.
If you allow analytics cookies, we also collect limited technical and usage information such as pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and interactions with the site. We do not send form answers or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
We normally collect information directly from you. For carefully targeted business outreach, we may use professional information published by your employer, company website, Companies House, or professional networking services.
Why we use it
We use personal information to:
- answer questions and assess whether the service is suitable;
- take steps you request before entering a contract;
- provide, administer, improve, and support the service;
- manage billing, records, security, and legal obligations;
- understand site performance where you consent to analytics; and
- contact relevant corporate businesses about our services where our legitimate interests are not overridden by individual rights.
Our lawful bases are steps before a contract, performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, consent for non-essential analytics, and legitimate interests in operating, securing, improving, and responsibly marketing our business. You can object to direct marketing at any time.
Who we share it with
We use service providers for website hosting, customer relationship management, forms, email, analytics, payment processing, accounting, and professional advice. These may include Netlify, HubSpot, Google Analytics, Porkbun, and Stripe as the relevant services are enabled.
We share only what is reasonably needed and require providers to protect it. Some providers may process information outside the UK. Where required, we rely on recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations or approved contractual protections.
We may disclose information where required by law, to establish or defend legal rights, or in connection with a business reorganisation.
How long we keep it
We generally keep unsuccessful enquiries and prospect records for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless you object sooner. We keep client, contractual, billing, and service records for up to seven years where needed for legal, tax, accounting, or dispute purposes. Google Analytics data is configured for a maximum retention period of 14 months where that setting applies.
We may keep a minimal suppression record for longer so that we can respect a request not to contact you again.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can ask us for access to your information, correction, deletion, restriction, or transfer, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Contact hello@paidsearchpartner.co.uk to exercise a right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Cookies
We use essential browser storage for site operation and your cookie preference. Google Analytics loads only after you accept analytics cookies. See our cookie policy for details and use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice.
Security and changes
We use proportionate technical and organisational measures to protect information. No internet service is completely secure, so please do not send passwords or advertising-platform credentials through public forms.
We may update this policy when our services or providers change. The latest version and update date will remain on this page.
